Electric Youth is now available for pre-order!

So, I wrote a comic for Big Dog Ink.  How cool is that?

In short: Electric Youth is a young superhero with a devil-may-care attitude and the rugged good looks of a Ryan-Gosling-type-guy. Nothing is off limits for the dude–he can do anything he wants, with whomever he wants, wherever he wants, whenever he wants…but he can’t outrun the consequences of his actions…

I’m super stoked.  It’s the first time I’ve ever written for someone else’s characters, in someone’s else’s universe.

A big thanks go out to Tom Hutchison at Big Dog Ink for givin’ me the gig.  If you’re not reading The Legend of Oz: Wicked West and Critter, then we’re no longer friends.

Also: It’s drawn by Rene Michiletti (Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Battlestar Galactica, Gladiator vs. Supreme).  That man is legendary.  It’s an honor to have my name printed next to his.

Here’s the official solicitation:

Electric Youth!

In case you haven’t heard me yapping about it yet, I wrote an Electric Youth one-shot for Big Dog  that’ll see print sometime this Fall.

I’m amped about it, ’cause it’s drawn by Rene Micheletti (Gladiator/Supreme, Battlestar Galactica, Buffy The Vampire Slayer), and takes place in the same universe as Critter!

Here’s the page that landed Mr. Micheletti the gig (it won’t appear in the book, it’s just an audition sample):
